you can try a local childrens hospital. since they are not stuffed animals and can be cleaned easily they might accept them. there are lots of little girls and boys in the hospitals that love horses and don't have the ability to ride. they would surely enjoy having one of your horses. you could also try finding a riders with disablities program and contact them. they might end up selling the horses though to further fund their programs.

you should give half of your collection to the childrens hospital and the other half to the montessori school in lexington, kentucky

What a wonderful gesture!! Out of curiosity, what organization did you decide on?

I'd be interested to know for some of my collection I no longer play with.

I fixed up the old breyers I had with a little acrylic paint. and made some costumes for them and gave them to Toys For Tots as Christmas presents

Toys for tots want in new condition toys hence the paint for touching them up

If you are going to donate them you should list them on Model Horse Sale Pages solicting costumes, tack or riders to be donated with them to charity. The model horse hobbiest are a generous lot. I bet you could get a lot of fun stuff donated  from others in the hobby.
