It's certainly a good excuse for buying a new one!  Do you have the pieces of the broken stand?  I think it's just regular plastic, which you could glue together with epoxy.

I'd probably try shaping a chunk of modeling clay like Fimo, and using that to hold him up. Not an invisible fix, for sure, but I bet it would work!
