Isadora-Cruce is a new spring release from Breyer, a portrait model whose original subject will also be attending BreyerFest this year.  Isadora-Cruce is the direct descendent of the Spanish horses brought to the Americas by the Spanish travelers of the 15th and 16th century.

I accidentally overlooked one of Breyer's new models for the Spring 2010 collection, which has been on sale for about a month now.  This is a portrait model of Fleetstreet Max, a famous overo Quarter Horse gelding.  Fleetstreet Max and his model were profiled in the May/June issue of Just About Horses (JAH).

This morning I noticed that Breyer still hasn't update their new "Product of the Week" badge on their website in the last week and a half.  (Tee hee!  Love you, Breyer!)  But I did spot a new model, a BreyerFest Limited Edition which will have a very small run of only 300 pieces.

Escondido is a very handsome palomino, using the El Pastor mold.  This mold was sculpted by Chris Hess in 1974, and is definitely a favorite among collectors.  I have spotted several El Pastor conga lines in collectors' pictures!

eight belles  i have decided to dedicate a model horse for this eight belles i feel is herbeautiful creature, i decided to make tack, stuff for her, make a certifificate for her. three year old filly sad to think of her death.

Rising SunI was shocked when I checked the Breyer website at random this morning and found out that they had updated the "Featured Product" badge on their website's sidebar!  It seems like S. Justadream has been featured there for ages.  A new horse now has the place of honor, AND it's called "Product of the Week," which implies that it will be getting updated weekly.  

Breyer has a big Elvis Presley thing going on this year in conjunction with BreyerFest.  (Which fits in well with their "Hollywood" theme this year!)  They will be launching the Elvis Presley Collection at BreyerFest.  The new collection will feature "the horses of Graceland," both past and former.
